Kai has a BSc (Honours) Psychology and Counselling degree with a British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation. Kai has been Chair for her tenant’s scrutiny panel with Black Country Housing Group for over three years. Within her role, Kai has carried out numerous reviews, supported in stage 2 complains, assisted in shaping policies, provided board assurance, interviewed potential staff members and panel members, also been a part of the wider reshaping of the culture of the housing association.
Kai’s other roles include being a Member of Tenants Advisory Panel with National Housing Federation (NHF); Tpas Associate; Independent Commission board member, for a Community-Led project; Author of the national project ‘Diverse Voice: Transforming Tenant Influence in Social Housing’; School governor
Kai has contributed to numerous panel discussions in the sector, championing the tenant voice and ways to improve collaboration between landlords and tenants. Kai has written articles for Inside Housing and has contributed blogs to the sector.
